Mihret Getabicha joined Sutter O’Connell’s California office in 2025, bringing six years of civil litigation experience in California state and federal courts. Her practice concentrates on litigation under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act (lemon law).

Mihret began her legal career in 2019 at a nonprofit immigration law firm in Los Angeles, where she represented individuals before administrative agencies. She then spent five years litigating management-side labor and employment matters across California. In addition, Mihret operated her own law practice, delivering tailored solutions to clients navigating the complex and evolving landscape of California employment and immigration law.

She will utilize her past experience in all phases of litigation including trial, arbitration, and before administrative agencies, in furtherance of defending warranty claims and lawsuits throughout California.

In her spare time, Mihret enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling.
