Ashley Wakefield has been practicing since 2015. Since joining Sutter O’Connell in 2018, Ashley has successfully defended automobile manufacturers, public entities, and insurers in matters in both Ohio and Pennsylvania. She has obtained multiple summary judgment rulings in several counties across Ohio, tried and obtained favorable jury verdicts, and successfully mediated and settled numerous matters. Prior to joining Sutter O’Connell, Ashley honed her litigation skills at a law firm in Canton, OH, representing clients in personal injury, medical malpractice, and business litigation matters. During law school, Ashley was a member of the University of Akron School of Law’s nationally ranked Mock Trial Program.

In her free time, Ashley continues to give back to The University of Akron School of Law. She has served as an instructor at the law school’s Summer Trial Academy since the program was founded in 2015. She also continues to assist with the school’s Mock Trial Program.
