Cuyahoga County Commercial Docket Discontinued

Posted on January 28th, 2015 by sutteroconnell

Since 2009, Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas has had a commercial docket in which several judges handled the commercial lawsuits filed in the county.  The idea was that these judges dedicated to business cases would accumulate deeper experience in the complexities of corporate law and decrease lawsuit delays.  Last week, the Cuyahoga County judges decided by a majority vote to discontinue the commercial docket.  Click here to view the press release from the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association on the discontinuation of the commercial docket.
