Doug oversees numerous product liability and toxic tort cases pending in Cuyahoga County and other jurisdictions throughout Ohio. His experience is extensive in defending asbestos personal injury claims in trial and appellate courts on behalf of product manufacturers, distributors, suppliers and professional service providers.
Doug served from 2003 until 2005 as a Judicial Staff Attorney to Judges Leo M. Spellacy and Harry A. Hanna of the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, where his docket consisted primarily of toxic-related cases.
Doug also devotes a significant portion of his practice to domestic relations and family law. He is a certified Guardian Ad Litem for the State of Ohio. He provides full divorce and custody representation to individuals throughout Northeast Ohio, from initial separation agreements to modifications of orders after the final decrees.
Doug is a member of the Defense Research Institute, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (Family Law Committee), Ohio State Bar Association, Lake County Bar Association (Family Law Committee), and the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys.
Doug is admitted to practice law in all state and federal courts in Ohio. He was admitted to practice law in Tennessee in 2008. He and his wife live in Concord Township, Ohio.
