Britt joined Sutter & O’Connell's products liability, medical malpractice and general defense group in 2003. As a shareholder in our Tennessee office, Britt has successfully defended multiple product manufacturers including automobile manufacturers, chemical manufacturers, heavy truck manufacturers and consumer product manufacturers. Britt has also represented medical providers, hospitals, dentists, nursing homes, and elder care service providers in medical malpractice and negligence lawsuits. In addition to product liability and medical malpractice defense, Britt maintains a general defense practice which includes catastrophic personal injury, premise liability and trucking and transportation cases. Also, Britt’s extensive prior experience in the construction industry makes him a firm leader in handling construction defect and environmental cases. Britt’s attention to detail and handling of high exposure cases in both state and federal courts throughout Tennessee has lead to his great success in defending numerous manufacturers, medical care providers, businesses and individuals.
In his free time, Britt is an avid outdoorsman who shares his love of the outdoors with his three young children.
